Measurement tests

We are finishing off the unit of measurement and will be moving on to fractions/decimals/percents next week. 

grade 5 - unit test Friday, March 27th
-metric conversion (km, m, dm, cm, mm), perimeter, area, volume, time

grade 6 - unit test Thursday, March 26th
-metric conversion (km, dam, m, dm, cm, mm), perimeter, area, surface area, volume

grade 5 Independent novel study final task

Attached is the link for the culminating task for the independent novel study.
Student will have three full blocks to work in class. Final submission and presentations are on Monday, March 30th.

Grade 6 Lanterns

Please make sure that the grad lanterns are completed during the break. I have pushed the due date to Monday, March 23rd.

Grade 5 Independent Novel Study

Questions and answers for the novel study have now been handed in by most. Thank you for all of your hard work! After the break, we will be completing a larger task to end off the unit. Please read as much of your novel as you can during the break. Extra points will be rewarded to those that finish it!!

Mme. Kohut's grade 5s

Students that are on the French field trip this week are asked to answer a few questions every night for their independent study novel. Please choose 8-10 questions of your choice, depending on where you are in the novel. They can be completed in the gray novel study booklets. Questions are due next Tuesday, March 10th.
