Language: This week, we will finish the novel, Bridge to Terabithia. Chapter 12-13 tasks are in the Hapara Workspace. We will have a final task either this week or next.
On Tuesday, we will begin a Christmas writing task. It will be a persuasive letter to Santa from the perspective of a villain. This task will be located in the students' Language folders online.
Religion: We are learning about Advent this month. Students are writing a new prayer based one of the 4 advent themes.
Math: We will finish up the Geometry unit this week and are starting three dimensional shapes. Students are currently working on naming the number of sides, edges and vertices on 3D objects.
Students will have an open book culminating task next week instead of a unit test.

Science: The Science assessment is on Monday. We will then begin new units in science later on in the week. Grade 5 - Forces Acting on Structures and Mechanisms, Grade 6 - Air and Flight
Art: We are continuing to work on our optical illusion 3D art task in class.
