Math - Students completed a culminating task for data management recently. They will be marked and placed in the student portfolios. We are now part way through the geometry unit. Students should be practising how to read, measure and construct angles between 0-180 degrees. There will be a quiz on measuring with a protractor on Thursday, Dec. 1.
Language - Friendly letter tasks are being graded and will be handed back by Monday. We are now finished Bridge to Terabithia and the final task (a book jacket/cover) is due today. Your child should show you their chapter tasks to get signed by the end of this week. I am still missing a few. The next writing task will be a fictional mystery story with a Christmas theme. Stay tuned!
Religion - We are learning about advent and the meaning and symbolism behind each candle on the wreath.
